Bulgarian Institute for Management and Technology (BIMT) is a non-profit organisation focused on educational projects and on fostering entrepreneurship activities. It is an independent institution working to ensure less company investment in getting the human resources hired up-to-speed for the needs of company's project.
BIMT is striving to promote higher standards of education in Bulgaria and help universities adjust their curricula to the market needs.
BIMT is working on projects developing human capital in IT and telecoms sector via:
- Contacts and cooperation with leading technology sector companies
- Partnerships with universities in Bulgaria on development of curricula and up-to-date educational standards that meet market needs
- Access to a constantly updated database of CVs of students and participants in NOVATech business plan contest
- Training and management consultancy
- Business incubator
BIMT offers educational and training programmes with the aim to develop practical skills on start-ups planing and management.
The institute develops new educational curricula, including on EU funded programmes, and consults local organisations on their implementation and execution.
BIMT applies and develops innovative practices in human resources recruitment and career development such as job shadowing, retention programs, internal recruitment, etc.
